Shocking is a trademark of Jean-Paul Gaultier, a mischievous signature that inspires long essays in major fashion magazines, and a whole host of horrified expressions in the most educated circles. And for good reason! Through his creations, whether in Haute Couture or perfumery, this genius plays, regardless of the era, with our taboos. In particular those concerning sexuality, glamour, and prudish aesthetic morality.

So, after having graced us with a "Classique" fragrance, with the generous curves of its famous bustier, he presents us with "Scandal", which, as its name suggests, is destined to get Parisian salons talking. And why? Because it breaks the code of the delicate, refined and slightly blushing Parisian woman. Under this fragrance, the woman is sensual, gourmand, eager for experiences. With a honey-gardenia accord, Scandal reveals a completely charming and dynamic woman, but with that of honey and patchouli, she sneers at our naivety, and dances on our beliefs that would have the woman, this woman, be as docile as "propriety" would require.

And to accompany this desire to break all the codes still in place, Gaultier unveils a bottle which, contrary to his habit, will present us with a pair of legs, slim, chiseled. Summer is coming, and we reveal the bottom, these legs, thighs, calves... Ankles! Which for so many years, women had the duty to hide.

A scandalous nudity that loudly proclaims that this perfume is that of freedom: the freedom to enjoy a body that no longer wants to hide.

Designed by Daphné Bugey in association with Fabrice Pellegrin and Christophe Raynaud, Scandal contains "a delicious, fresh honey that smells of gardenia and blood orange."
